Dhanush to team up with THIS most-wanted filmmaker after completing Captain Miller and Sekhar Kammula's film

Dhanush, who has had four releases this year, is gearing up for his next outing, Vaathi, which will hit the screens on February 17. The bilingual film helmed by Venky Atluri was supposed to release in December, but the makers decided to postpone their plans by two months.

The movie will be released in Telugu under the title Sir. Samyuktha Menon is playing the female lead in the film which has GV Prakash composing music for it. The project is Dhanush's first film to have a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu.

 He is currently busy with Arun Matheswaran's action adventure flick Captain Miller which kicked off sometime ago. Sekhar Kammula's movie is another project the actor has in his kitty. Now, there are reports that he will join hands with H Vinoth, who is busy with the post production works of Ajith's Thunivu.

Vinoth has been continuously working with Ajith for three movies from 2019. It looks like the talented filmmaker is all set to work with a new star after a short hiatus. It was his Karthi-starrer Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru (2017) which made people sit and notice his hard work, though he had already made an impressive debut with Sathuranga Vettai in 2014. 

The filmmaker was in talks with Kamal Haasan, too, for a project and it was expected that an announcement would be made on the latter's birthday a month ago. However, the Ulaganayagan chose Mani Ratnam to direct him next. 

For now, fans have their fingers crossed as Thunivu is set for a release on January 12. The heist drama, apart from Ajith, stars Manu Warrier, Samuthirakani and John Kokken among others in lead roles.
