The eagerly anticipated update for Dhanush fans is here! The trailer for the period action drama will be released tomorrow (January 6). The actor took to his social media handles to share the news as he unveiled a brand-new poster for the film. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, the movie also stars Shivarajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Mohan, Nassar, Vinoth Kishan, and others.

Sharing the new poster on his X handle, Dhanush wrote, “Captain Miller trailer 6/01/24.” The poster exudes a calm vibe when compared to the previous poster and stills from the film. Dhanush is seen standing tall with a gun on his shoulders. From the looks of it, the trailer looks set to have high-octane, action-packed sequences. Whether this poster is just a tease before 'the storm' will only be determined tomorrow when the trailer is released.

Censor Board cuts violence out of Captain Miller and gives it U/A certification

Arun Matheswaran thanks Dhanush

At the audio launch for the film, stars from the film gathered to speak about Captain Miller and their experiences working on the project. Director Arun showcased his gratitude to Dhanush at the event for saying yes to the script even before his first film (Rocky) had been released. “Dhanush said yes to Captain Miller even before my first film was released. Thank you, sir for the trust. I had written a film called Devdas in 2011 for Dhanush, but I couldn't meet him back then. I tried to approach him for Rocky (2021) but that also didn't happen. I then finally got to do Captain Miller with him. I narrated the story to Shivanna (Shivarajkumar) and he liked it very much. He said that he's a big fan of Dhanush and will definitely do the movie for him,” the director said.
