Dhanush's film with Selvaraghavan, Naane Varuven, wraps up its shooting; likely to release this year

The shooting of Selvaraghavan's Dhanush-starrer Naane Varuven commenced a while ago in Ooty. The former has been giving regular updates of the movie and posting a few stills from the location. The crew has now completed filming of the project which brings back the brothers after Mayakkam Enna.

Kalaippuli S Thanu has bankrolled the film under V Creations and Yuvan Shankar Raja was brought on board long ago to compose music. The movie will have Dhanush essaying dual roles for the first time in his career. However, the makers have kept its story and genre under wraps. 

Elli AvrRam is playing the female lead in the movie; she has taken to her Twitter page to express happiness on having worked in the film and posted a heartfelt note along with a picture from the location which has her seen along with Selva and Dhanush. 

She tweeted, "Feeling so blessed & excited to finally share this with you all. Yesterday was a wrap for me, completing my part in #NaaneVaruven with my wonderful co-actor @dhanushkraja, brilliant director @selvaraghavan sir and outstanding dop @omdop. Thank you for having me onboard (sic)."

Earlier today. Dhanush, too, announced about the movie's completion with the post, "And it’s a wrap #Naanevaruven  HE IS COMING (sic)." He, too, posted a picture from his Twitter page; the black and white photo has him sitting on top of a jeep. Naane Varuven is expected to be released in theatres this year.

Mithran Jawahar's Thiruchitrambalam is the actor's next release. The film will be his theatrical release after Karnan which released a year ago. His last releases, Maaran, Atrangi Re and Jagame Thandhiram, were OTT releases. With the completion of Naane Varuven, fans of the star hope that makers will come up with interesting updates from the movie soon.
