Dhanush’s Idly Kadai not to suffer fate of NEEK, to release along with Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly

Actor and filmmaker Dhanush’s third directorial Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, which was scheduled to release on February 7, got pushed by two weeks, after Ajith Kumar-starrer film Vidaamuyarchi announced that the film would release on February 6. However, it seems the pattern would repeat as Dhanush’s Idly Kadai and Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly are both slated for an April 10 release.

Dhanush’s Idly Kadai not to change release date

Actor Dhanush, who was last seen in Raayan, is currently working on his third directorial Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. The film is slated for release on February 21 and features a young cast, including actors Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Mathew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan. While the film was postponed after Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi is coming on February 6, the same will not happen with Idly Kadai.

For those who don’t know, Dhanush-starrer and directorial Idly Kadai is slated for April 10 release, the same day Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly has also been announced. As per the latest reports, it is strongly said that Idly Kadai will not change its release date and will go as per the announcement. It will be interesting to see how two films with notable stars, and different genres releasing on the same day.

All we know about Idly Kadai

Idly Kadai is directed by Dhanush and produced by Dawn Pictures in association with Wunderbar Films. Also starring Rajkiran, Samuthirakani, Nithya Menen and others, the film has music by GV Prakash Kumar. Touted to be a family drama, Kiran Koushik is cranking the camera and Prasanna GK handling the edits.
