Fans of Dhanush were elated when makers of his bilingual project Vaathi (Sir in Telugu) unveiled its first look poster Naane Varuven earlier today. Now, they have one more reason to cheer as team Naane Varuven has come up with a surprise poster from the movie, ahead of the star's birthday falling tomorrow.

The poster has Dhanush standing on top of a rock filled with algae in a thick dense forest. He's seen wearing gloves and wielding a bow and arrow in his hand. The actor plays dual roles for the first time in the film which has been helmed by Selvaraghavan.

The brothers are teaming up after Mayakkam Enna which was released more than a decade ago. Kalaippuli S Thanu, who has bankrolled the movie under V Creations, had revealed recently that one of the characters Dhanush essays in the film is that of the antagonist in it, and that the actor has come up with a stellar performance.

Unveiling the surprise poster, Selva took to Twitter to post, "A special birthday for a special person. Happy birthday in advance my dear brother @dhanushkraja (sic)." Though there is speculation that Naane Varuven will hit the screens towards the end of September, we hear that makers are yet to take a decision on the same.

Elli AvrRam plays the female lead in the movie; the project also marks the actress' debut project in Tamil. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music for the film which is in its final leg of post-production.

Om Prakash has cranked the camera for the movie which has Prasanna GK handling editing and Stunt Silva helming action scenes. Indhuja Ravichandran, Prabhu and Yogi Babu among others will be seen essaying key roles in the movie.
