Dheeram starts streaming: Starring Indrajith Sukumaran in the lead role of a senior cop, the Malayalam thriller has now dropped on Prime Video after missing the reported OTT release date of March 6.

Malayalam actor Indrajith Sukumaran’s latest film Dheeram has finally started streaming. The film, a cop thriller, is now streaming on Prime Video. OTTplay Premium subscribers can also access Dheeram by topping up their plans to include Prime Video.
Where to watch Dheeram on OTT
The Malayalam movie Dheeram, which released in theatres on December 5, 2025, was earlier reported to make its online debut on March 6. However, the film missed the date. Now, the Indrajith Sukumaran-led movie has arrived unannounced on Prime Video this week. Only the Malayalam audio option is available for the movie on the platform with English subtitles.
Dheeram released in theatres along with Mammootty’s serial killer film Kalamkaval, which is streaming on SonyLiv via OTTplay Premium. Khajuraho Dreams, another December 5 release, also dropped on Saina Play and Amazon Prime Video earlier this month. But there was no update on Dheeram, until this weekend.
What is Dheeram movie about
Starring Indrajith Sukumaran in the lead role of a senior cop, Dheeram revolves around ACP Stalin Joseph investigating a series of crimes in Kerala’s Kozhikode. A former IG’s son is killed, followed by two more murders. Stalin has to get to the bottom of the mystery and stop the killer, who seems to be committing the crime over a personal vengeance.

Jithin Suresh T has directed the film, which is penned by Deepu S. Nair and Sandeep Sadanandan. Dheeram had a forgettable run at the cinemas in December but could find takers in the digital space.
Apart from Indrajith, Dheeram also features Aju Varghese, Vijayaraghavan, Nishanth Sagar, Sagar Surya of Pani fame, and Divya Pillai.
Which are the latest Malayalam releases
Another Malayalam film that made a surprise entry in the digital space this week is Prakambanam, a horror comedy entertainer. The film dropped on Zee5 (OTTplay Premium) on Zee5 via OTTplay Premium on the night of March 13.
Sukran, a lesser-known Malayalam film, also dropped on Sun NXT (OTTplay Premium) this Friday.
