A few days earlier, we had reported that Master Raghavan of Bhaskar Oru Rascal fame has completed shooting for Karthik Subbaraj’s next starring Vikram and his son, actor Dhruv Vikram. Today, Dhruv Vikram has also finished his portions for the film with the schedule shot in Darjeeling. According to reports, Dhruv will be seen as a young police officer in the movie.
The movie is expected to finish filming by the first half of September. The team will be heading for the India-Nepal border for the next schedule. Minor portions of the film will be shot there, which will also mark the completion of the shoot. Dhruv Vikram had earlier starred in Varmaa and Adithya Varma, both remakes of the cult hit Telugu movie Arjun Reddy, starring Vijay Deverakonda.
The movie is especially crucial for Vikram, who had faced consecutive box office failures lately. Vikram was last seen in Kadaram Kondaan, where he played a grave international criminal called KK, who is betrayed and comes back seeking revenge on those who wronged him. Although Vikram’s look and style hogged the limelight, it did not help the film’s collections at the box office. Who better than Karthik Subbaraj now to help him script a perfect comeback story?
Karthik Subbaraj, after OTT releases like Putham Pudhu Kaalai, Jagame Thandhiram and Navarasa, will be eyeing a theatrical release with this project.
