After making his directorial debut with the blockbuster hit URI: The Surgical Strike alongside Vicky Kaushal, Aditya Dhar is finally ready for his upcoming thriller, Dhurandhar. Backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film has a stellar cast including Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Vikash Rai, and Arjun Rampal. Now, in a new interview, Arjun, who was recently seen in Rana Naidu Season 2, opened up about the cast of Dhurandhar and the film!
In a new interview with the Indian Express, Rana Naidu Season 2 actor Arjun Rampal opened up about Dhurandhar and working with Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and Vikash Rai. When asked about the film and his experience shooting, Rampal said, "Well, I think you all should just be really happy that this film is being made, we all are. Aditya Dada is a genius, truly. I’ve worked with him, and he never ceases to surprise me, every single time."
He also said that the whole team is phenomenal. "Ranveer is in top-top form. Sanju is in top-top form. Akshay is in top-top form. Madhavan is in top-top form. And I’m trying to be in top-top form myself! So yeah, it’s going to be a ride — a ride that everyone should get ready to take," Arjun said.
The narrative of the high-octane drama is said to be inspired by real events from the golden age of Indian intelligence agencies, which coincided with the rise of RAW. It is learnt that the film will be shot on a grand scale and with a huge budget. The film will feature high-octane action sequences and plot twists. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande from Jio Studios with Lokesh Dhar and Aditya Dhar under their banner B62 Studios, the film is directed by Aditya.
