Did BTS' V celebrate his birthday early? Ahead of enlistment, Kim Taehyung shares video with actor friend Park Hyung-Sik

BTS' Kim Taehyung, also known as V, is preparing to commence his mandatory military service in South Korea, joining members Jungkook, Jimin, and RM. As he approaches his enlistment, ARMY is saddened by the prospect of him not celebrating his upcoming birthday on December 30 with fans. 

Recently, V took to his Instagram story to share a video featuring him and his actor friend Park Hyung-Sik in a car, both dressed in matching white outfits.

The video circulated on various social media platforms, and fans observed a bag on the backseat, speculating that it might be an early birthday present, suggesting the duo decided to celebrate in advance.

Soon enough, the bag and the birthday celebration became the topic of discussion for ARMY on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Recently, actor Park Hyung Sik gave a shoutout to V during his fan meeting, which was attended by fellow Wooga Squad member Park Seo Joon. 

For those unfamiliar, the Wooga Squad is a renowned collective of Korean actors and singers. The name "Wooga" is derived from the abbreviation of "Woori-ga-gajok-inga," which translates to 'Are we family.' The Wooga Squad includes Peakboy, Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, Park Hyung Sik, and V. The squad is celebrated for their tight-knit and supportive relationship.

Park Hyung Sik and ZE:A, hosted his '2023 ASIA TOUR FAN MEETING'. The surprise appearance of Park Seo Joon, gearing up for the upcoming K-drama 'Gyeongseong Creature,' added excitement to the event.

On November 26, the 'Strong Woman Do Bong Soon' actor, who completed his military service in 2021 after enlisting in 2019, held an exclusive fan meeting titled 'SIKcret Time in Seoul YS24 hall.' During the event, Park Seo Joon unexpectedly appeared with a bouquet, leaving Park Hyung Sik speechless.

Engaging with fans, Park Hyung Sik mentioned V and shared that his friend is about to start his military service, mentioning that they had met for drinks before V's enlistment.

"Recently, just a few days back, I realized a friend was about to enter the military, so I thought meeting him before he enlists would be a good idea. We ended up having quite a few drinks."
