Karthik Yogi's Dikkiloona, starring Santhanam in three roles, will premiere on Zee5, on September 10. The makers had released the film's trailer and video of the ever green song Per Vachalum's remix version recently. A few posters of the movie, revealing the names of the characters played by Anagha, Shirin Kanchwala, Munishkanth, Anandraj and Naan Kadavul Rajendran, were also released on the social media account of the streaming platform. The celebrity premiere show of the movie was held recently which was attended by the crew members and close friends of Santhanam like Silambarasan, Arya and Vishnu Vishal among others.
On Wednesday, the team dropped a three-minute sneak peek of the comic caper which features a scene having Santhanam and Yogi Babu. The latter asks the former to get him booze, and while the two are engaged in a conversation about going to a nearby liquor shop, Albert, played by Yogi dies of electric shock. A distressed and helpless Santhanam seeks help from a few people there. It turns out that they are scientists who are working on a time travel machine. Arun Alexander, who passed away last year, is seen as one of the scientists in the sequence. His character is confident of coming up with a pathbreaking discovery after Albert's death.
However, to their surprise, Albert gets up and comes up with some bizarre formula based on which one of the scientists try to operate the time travel machine, and hurray, it works. A visibly shock Santhanam asks him how he is aware of the formula, and Albert says that none other than Albert Einstein's soul has entered his body. The makers had earlier revealed that time travel will be one of the sub-plots in the movie which has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Harbhajan Singh's cameo is expected to be another attraction of the film.
