The makers of Santhanam-starrer Dikkiloona had announced recently that the film will have a digital premiere on Zee5 on September 10. On Saturday, the production house and Santhanam released a new trailer of the movie, the duration of which is around two-minutes.

The actor will be seen essaying three roles for the first time in the film directed by Karthik Yogi. He is seen as Maaplai Mani, EB Mani and Hockey Mani, whose lives are intriguingly connected with several incidents in the movie. Shirin Kanchwala and Anagha play female leads in the movie, the shooting of which was wrapped up long ago.

The trailer, which reveals the three appearances of Santhanam in the film, showcases a few hilarious counters of the actor, along some of the sequences in which he shared the screen with Munishkanth, Yogi Babu, Anandraj and the two actresses. The remix version of the evergreen song, Per Vachalum Vaikama Ponalum, from the blockbuster Kamal Haasan-starrer Michael Madana Kamarajan, played in the trailer's background, which is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. There were reports earlier that the movie has time travel as one of its elements. The trailer has a portion in which Santhanam talks to one of the actresses about going back to 2020, which indicates that something innovative is in store for the audience.

Produced by Kotapadi J Rajesh, under his production house KJR Studios, Dikkiloona has Nizhalgal Ravi, Naan Kadavul Rajendran, Shah Ra and Arun Alexander playing prominent roles in it. The shooting of the movie, which was wrapped up before the first lockdown, was initially supposed to be a theatrical release, but the makers opted for an OTT release later. Santhanam has Sabapathy and Server Sundaram awaiting the release. It has to be seen if the makers of these projects will go the OTT way.
