Still of SIvakarthikeyan in Doctor

The wait is finally over for the upcoming Sivakarthikeyan’s Doctor. The trailer of this film was released and it gave fans a glimpse into what the movie could be. It reveals bits of each and every character, while still focusing mainly on the protagonist’s character.

The trailer starts off with what could be construed as Sivakarthikeyan’s voice speaking in Spanish. It later jumps to a scene where a group of people pose as a ‘family’. The actor kidnaps children, further keeping the mystery behind Sivakarthikeyan’s character alive. This can also be considered an adaptation from Nelson Dilipkumar, who had earlier brought out the notorious element of a seemingly innocent family, in Nayanthara’s Kolamaavu Kokila.

The trailer follows a series of incidents of organ trafficking that feature Vinay Rai as the antagonist. Yogi Babu’s brief but hilarious appearance and witty lines brings out the element of dark humour. This brightens the theme of the trailer. Ultimately, it manages to capture the audience's attention through the mysterious plot.

Also starring Priyanka Arul Mohan and Milind Soman among others in crucial roles, Doctor is bankrolled under the association of Sivakarthikeyan Productions and KJR Studios. Anirudh Ravichandar has composed the music for the film, which is nothing less than an icing on the cake.

Catch the upcoming medical thriller Doctor in theatres on October 9, post which you can stream it on SunNxt. The OTT release date of the film is yet to be announced.
