When will Dostana 2 begin shooting?

Dostana 2 marks the second installment of Karan Johar’s 2008 production, Dostana. The upcoming rom-com has been one of the most awaited and biggest ventures for not only the makers but also the star-studded ensemble. Earlier envisioned with the trio of Kartik Aaryan, Lakshya, and Janhvi Kapoor, Dostana 2 later got some shuffle in its cast after the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 star exited the franchise. 12th Fail actor Vikrant Massey was then roped in to become a part of Dostana 2. In an interview with Filmfare, it is reported that Vikrant Massey will join Kill star Lakshya to kickstart the shoot from next month, i.e., February.

"Vikrant Massey and Lakshya are scheduled to begin filming for Dostana 2 in February. While additional details remain under wraps, their collaboration is expected to be an exciting one,” a source of the news portal revealed.

Lakshya, who was recently seen leading Aaryan Khan’s directorial debut, Ba***ds of Bollywood, will be playing a pivotal role in Dostana. He debuted with Karan Johar’s Kill and garnered acclaim for his fine acting and impressive action scenes.

What are Vikrant Massey’s upcoming films?

On the professional work front, Vikrant Massey is currently gearing up for Vishal Bhardwaj's O'Romeo, where he will be playing a significant role in the anti-romance flick. O’Romeo features the formidable likes of Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri in the lead. The movie is slated to hit the screens on February 13, 2026.

Meanwhile, Vikrant earlier revealed to Times Now that he is doing his first Dharma movie with Dostana 2.
