Dragon box office collection day 5: Pradeep Ranganathan’s film has been working wonders at the box office, going on to dominate the Tamil and Telugu screens

Dragon, the Pradeep Ranganathan-starrer film which hit theatres for last weekend, has been the talk of the town ever since its release, and tasted success at the box office. The film has already crossed the 50-crore mark worldwide. With the domestic box office, Dragon has so far earned about Rs 40 crores in India alone during its five days of run.
After the phenomenal success of Love Today, actor and filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan starred in 2025 Tamil film Dragon, helmed by his friend and director Ashwath Marimuthu. The film released in theatres on February 21 and has been performing well at the box office. While earlier it was announced that the film has already crossed Rs 50 crores of collection worldwide, the domestic collection at the end of five days stands at Rs 40.50 crore.
Dragon, produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, and Kalpathi S. Suresh under AGS Entertainment, released in Telugu as Return of the Dragon. The drama film revolves around a college student with 48 arrears, now leading a good life with high salary and about to get married. However, a particular circumstance forces him to return college to clear the backlogs.
Apart from Pradeep, the film also stars KS Ravi Kumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Vj Siddhu, Harshath Khan, Anupama Parameshwaran, Kayadu Lohar, George Mariyan, Indhumathy Manigandan, Thenappan and others. Leon James has scored the music, with camera cranked by Niketh Bommireddy and Pradeep E Ragav handling the edits. Dragon opened to majorly positive reviews from critics.
Netflix has procured the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. With the massive reception theatrical release of Dragon has been getting, it might take a while for the film to make its OTT debut.
