Dragon is an upcoming Tamil film starring actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role. Scheduled to release on February 21 in theatres, the first review of the film is already out, and it is surely giving a blockbuster review.
Executive producer Aditi Ravindranath, who saw the film, shared the film's first review on social media recently. Calling it "blockbuster", Aditi appreciated the producers that Dragon will be a film that they will be proud of, while credited Pradeep with "yet another feather in your cap".
Dragon is helmed by filmmaker Ashwath Marimuthu, who was congratulated by Aditi for making a "complete package" and an enjoyable film. Leon James scored the music, whose work made Aditi "laugh, cry and feel".
Dragon is set to be a commercial entertainer, revolving around a fresh and vibrant love story. Written and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the director co-wrote the film along with Pradeep and is produced by AGS Entertainment. The film also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, George Maryan, Indumathy Manikandan, KS Ravikumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, VJ Siddhu and Harshath Khan.
The post-theatrical streaming rights of the film are with Netflix. It is expected to premiere sometime in March. Dragon is director Ashwath Marimuthu’s second film in Tamil, after Oh My Kadavule. Starring Ashok Selvan, Ritika Singh, Vijay Sethupathi, and others, Oh My Kadavule is about two best friends who get married only to find out that they are incompatible. The film marked Ashwath’s directorial debut and was remade in Telugu as Ori Devuda.
