Dragon OTT release: The cast includes Anupama Parameswaran and Kayadu Lohar as the female leads, alongside Gautham Menon, VJ Siddhu, Harshath Khan and others

Dragon, the 2025 hit Tamil drama headlined by actor and filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role, is all set to make its OTT debut. The film will be available for streaming on Netflix from Friday (March 21) in multiple Indian languages. Dragon, which is one of the highest-grossing Tamil films in 2025 so far, will be closing its box office collection in India with a rough estimate of about Rs 100 crore.
Written and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, who earlier made Oh My Kadavule, Dragon is a 2025 Tamil film starring Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role. The film released in theatres in February, and after a theatrical run for a month, the film will stream on Netflix from March 21 onwards.
Before it makes its OTT debut, let’s look at the box office collection it has made. While official numbers have not been revealed, as per reports, Dragon has collected to around Rs 100 crore at the domestic box office, and Rs 150 crore at the worldwide level. It is to be noted that Dragon is the highest-grossing Tamil film in 2025 so far, surpassing Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi.
Dragon also stars Anupama Parameswaran and Kayadu Lohar as female leads, along with VJ Siddhu, Harshath Khan, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, KS Ravikumar, and others.
Aswath Marimuthu made his directorial debut with the fantasy romantic drama Oh My Kadavule, which is available for streaming on the OTTplay Premium app. The film stars Ashok Selvan, and Ritika Singh in the lead roles, with Vijay Sethupathi making a cameo appearance. Oh My Kadavule opened to a positive reception upon its release.
Meanwhile, the director will be next working with Silambarasan, which will also be a romantic fantasy. More details on the project are to be expected to come out soon.
