Dream Girl 2 box office collection day 1: The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer gets decent opening, mints over Rs 10 crore

Dream Girl 2 has been received well by the cinephiles, but not as much as the first instalment. Ayushmann Khurrana again spread magic on the screen with his utter charm, talent and his latest look, however, the film itself left short of it. Even though, the comedy-drama movie has received a decent opening day with the box office collection of Rs 10.69 crore.

According to the latest report on Sacnilk.com, Dream Girl 2 churned out Rs 10.69 crore on its first day. If compared, the Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial is giving great competition to OMG 2, which also gathered around Rs 10 crore on its opening day. However, like the latter, Ayushmann's film also left way too short in coming even closer to the day 1 BO collection of Gadar 2 .

Netizens unanimously hailed Ayushmann for his uncanny performance, while a few movie lovers praised the film too on the contrary of masses.

One of the Twitter users shared, "Just finished to watching #DreamGirl2 in #Gurgaon, @ayushmannk what an actor you are, nailed it, Ladki banna isn’t a small task, best comedy movie of the year, everyone was laughing in the theatre, go and watch it with your family, 5/5* #DreamGirl2Review (Sic)."

Dream Girl 2, which also has Ananya Panday, Anu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani among others, is out in theatres now.
