Dridam is the latest cop film to be announced in Malayalam which has Shane Nigam in the lead. Along with the title announcement, the makers have also unveiled the first-look of Shane Nigam as a gritty cop. The caption of the social media post said, “Every investigation begins with a revelation....”, assuring viewers that a taut investigative film is on the cards.
Filmmaker Jeethu Joseph, who is known for his Drishyam films with actor Mohanlal, has also backed the project. Notably, the film’s director Martin had previously worked with Jeethu Joseph and is making his debut with Dridam. Jomon John and Linto Devasia have penned the film, which also features Shobi Thilakan, Kottayam Ramesh, Sanya, and Krishna Praba Nair. PM Unnikrishnan cranks the camera, while Christo Joby composes the music. More details are not known currently. The film started rolling in the last week of April but the title is only being revealed now.

On the other hand, Shane Nigam is awaiting the release of Balti. But Balti release was postponed. The film, a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual, revolves around a kabbadi player. Another upcoming film of the RDX actor is Haal.
