Durga Puja: Parambrata Chatterjee directs Pujo gaan with Pt Ajoy Chakraborty, Kaushiki Chakraborty and 100 artistes

Durga Puja is here and the Kolkata pandals are brimming with crowds. The festive vibe is everywhere. The Durga Puja Agamani song Chaarpashe Alo Hok was released. It was sung by 100 artists. The song celebrates the puja spirit. 

This was the first Bengali song where Pt. Ajay Chakraborty and his daughter Koushiki Chakraborty had a duet. Parambrata Chatterjee directed the video. Srijato was the lyricist and Indraadip Das Gupta composed the music.

Artists like Somlata, Timir Biswas, Debayan Banerjee, Arijit Singh’s sister Amrita Singh, Ahiri, Raghab Chattopadhyay’s daughter Anandi Chattopadhyay, Nandy sisters Antara and Ankita, Koushik from the Bengali band Prithibi, Joy Sarkar, Partha Sarathi from the band Eklabya, Nirmalya Dey, and Joy Pal, collaborated in the music video. There were many child artists, too.

Samik Chakraborty is the music producer and Joy Sarkar plays the guitar. John Paul is seen playing the electric guitar and Nirmalya Hamtu Dey is the flautist. Koustav Majumdar plays sitar. Gopal Das, Nepal Das, and Sujit Das plays dhak.
