Tiger 3 star Emraan Hashmi reveals his equation with Salman Khan and why he doesn’t call him ‘bhai’ like most people.
Salman Khan and Emraan Khan in Tiger 3
Emraan Hashmi became a part of the YRF Spy Universe with his villainous act in Tiger 3, which stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. The highly anticipated movie was released on Diwali Day. As fans continue to shower Salman Khan with affection and accolades, Emraan Hashmi, who played Aatish in the film, has also received positive reviews from critics and viewers.
In a recent interview, Emraan discussed his relationship with Salman and the reason he doesn't call him "bhai", like other people do. “I might not call Salman ‘bhai’ but I see him as a brother; I see him as a friend. So I don’t need to address him that way and go around and tom-tom about it and put a label on him just because other people call him that,” Emraan stated in an interview with Connect FM Canada.
The actor further added that people show respect by their deeds, not by the words they speak; it is earned through behaviour. "I truly believe this; it is a result of my family’s upbringing. I respect everyone. I don’t, in any way, segregate people on a film set. I respect everyone equally. It’s thanks to my grounding and my family background,” Emraan added.
