It was earlier announced that the much-anticipated thriller flick of Vishal and Arya titled Enemy is set to clash with Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe this Diwali, on November 4. Now the makers have unveiled its trailer, which raises the bar of excitement.

The trailer starts off with a pair of best friends who turn enemies while training, as advised by Prakash Raj’s character. Thus, it looks like Enemy will contain the element of best friends turned foes as they grow up. The upcoming thriller outing also promises us intense action and stunts performed by Vishal and Arya, where the latter seems to carry certain negative shades in the movie.

Backed by Vinod Kumar, Enemy also stars Thambi Ramaiah and Karunakaran pivotal roles. It also features the upbeat musical of Thaman S. His singles like Tum Tum, Pathala and Little India have been appreciated previously.

Enemy is also geared up to be a Diwali outing in big screens on November 4 along with Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe. For the uninitiated, producer Vinod Kumar had previously lashed out at theatre owners who insisted on screening Annatthe over the Vishal and Arya starrer. Vinod talked about how he preferred to bring his project out on the big screens instead of OTT platforms, no matter how large a sum was offered to him for releasing the film on OTT. He talked about the monopoly and biases that are happening in theatres and conveyed his disappointment over the same.

Talking about Arya, his latest horror-comedy outing Aranmanai 3 is currently running in theatres. It opened to mixed reviews from critics and the viewers. His upcoming project is with director Nalan Kumarasamy of Soodhu Kavvum fame.

Vishal, on the other hand is occupied with several projects like Veerame Vaagai Soodum, Laththi and the sequel to Thupparivaalan.
