The trailer for Ennivar has just been released. Helmed by the acclaimed filmmaker Sidhartha Siva, the movie is all set to start streaming on Saina Play from September 29. It stars composer Sooraj S Kurup and Sarjano Khalid, who is known for his performance in June. Ennivar has already been honoured with Kerala State Awards under the ‘Best Director’ and ‘Best Character Actor’ categories. The plot revolves around themes like ‘campus politics’ and the ‘plight of party workers’.

The trailer of the film showcases its main characters who are living in exile in an isolated house. They are terrified because they feel that someone is following them, prompting them to escape the place as soon as possible. The trailer depicts friendly and tense moments between the characters while in exile. The characters played by Binu Pappu and Jeo Baby are leading the group, with Sudheesh appearing in the trailer as a mature person.

The trailer ends with a thrilling chasing scene, promising an exciting narrative. Sarjano portrays a rough character in contrast to his previous roles in June, Big Brother and 4 Years. The background score by Sooraj S Kurup is commendable during the thrilling cuts in the trailer.

During an interview with OTTplay earlier, Sarjano shared that the movie’s filming wrapped up during the pandemic. He also mentioned that his role in the film is unlike the usual ‘chocolate boy’ characters he has played in the past. According to the actor, although Ennivar was initially planned for film festivals, viewers’ feedback indicated that it could also be enjoyed as a commercial film.
