Marvels Eternals is easily one of the most anticipated movies of the year. As the movie edges ever closer to its massive global release, award winning filmmaker Chloé Zhao, who has directed the movie, has penned an emotional note on social media.
Taking to Instagram, the filmmaker wrote that she loves the movie so much and is ready to give it to the world. She referred to the movie as her “love child”.
The director then thanked all the cast and crew behind the movie and also said she was “eternally grateful” to the fans.
Eternals tells the tale of a group of immortals who have been living on Earth for thousands of years, waiting to save the planet when the time comes. They will fight an evil force called the Deviants when they become a threat to the planet.
The trailers of the award winning Nomadland director's latest outing hinted at a Marvel movie that would be quite different to the ones the fans have seen till date.
The movie features an array of under-represented characters including Marvel's first deaf superhero and an LGBTQ+ superhero.
While the movie still has not been released, the pre-release reviews have taken a punch at the movie, which has led the superhero flick to be the worst rated Marvel movie to date.
While the reviews say one thing, we have seen times when fans have appreciated a movie regardless of its pre-release reviews.
The filmmaker’s post makes clear that regardless of what reviews say, she is proud of the movie. Eternal is set to hit theatres across the country on November 5.
