The Home Alone movies are a family classic and are a very important part of every holiday. The makers of the new Home Alone movie have dropped a new trailer for the viewing pleasure of the fans.

The latest trailer focuses mainly on Archie Yates’ Max Mercer, the young boy who is left home alone to fend for himself dishing out a beating to two burglars, who expect robbing the house to be easy work.

Max is ready for the task and has set up all kinds of traps, contraptions and pranks to take down the burglars played by Ellie Kemper and Rob Delaney.

A frozen driveway, legos, a pool ball, doors, soda, and a trampoline are all used by Max as he tries to keep the burglars at bay, who have come looking for the Mercer family heirloom.

A trailer for the movie was released a few weeks ago and was received very harshly by the fans of the beloved franchise. The trailer has more than 85,000 dislikes to 21,000 likes.

While the trailer hints at a decent movie, it can't be guaranteed that the movie, made by Disney who have acquired the rights to the movie, will be better or even as good as the original.

Apart from Archie Yates as Max Mercer, Ellie Kemper as Pam Fritzovski and Rob Delaney as Jeff Fritzovski, the burglar duo, the movie also features Aisling Bea, Kenan Thompson, Chris Parnell, Pete Holmes and Timothy Simons.

Looking like a movie made in the hopes of reviving the franchise, Home Sweet Home Alone will be released directly into streaming and will not have a theatrical release.

The movie is all set to release on the Disney streaming platform from November 12, 2021.
