Exclusive: Ritwick Chakraborty to work in Parambrata Chatterjee’s directorial project

Ritwick Chakraborty is one of the busiest actors in the Bengali film industry, while Parambrata Chatterjee shuffles between different cities with his projects. Now they are all set to collaborate. According to sources, the actor will work under Parambrata’s direction. The project will be produced by Parambrata and Aritra Sen’s Roadshow Films. 

When we contacted Parambrata, he said, “I wanted to work with Ritwick for a long time. He is an unorthodox actor. However, everything is in the initial stage. We don’t know what format we are going to work in – if it would be a film or a web series.” meanwhile, Ritwick also hinted that he would work with Parambrata in an interview with OTTplay.

Ritwick and Parambrata were last seen together in Shabash Feluda, Gangtok Gondogol on Zee5. While Parambrata plays Feluda, Ritrtwck plays the character of Shashadhar Bose.

Meanwhile, Ritwick completed shooting Pritha Chakraborty’s Pahargunj Halt and Kamaleswar Mukherjee’s Ektu Sore Busun. He is currently shooting in London for a Joydeep Mukherjee film that also features Ishaa Saha and Anirban Chakrabarti. Parambrata completed shooting Kaushik Ganguly’s Asukh Bishukh. His Biye Bibhrat, which also features Abir Chatterjee and Lahoma Bhattacharya, is currently running in theatres. Meanwhile, he is also working on a paranormal thriller web series for Hoichoi which will release later this year.
