Aishwarya Rajesh has been receiving accolades for the portrayal of a woman who faces several struggles boldly in Suzhal - The Vortex which was dropped on Amazon Prime Video last Friday. The actress, who is elated with the response from various quarters, says she is now eagerly looking forward to her upcoming projects on which she has pinned high hopes on.
P Kinslin's Driver Jamuna is one of the films she says will fetch her more recognition as an actress, thanks to her performance and its screenplay. According to her, the female-centric film is unique in every way.
In a chat with OTTplay, she said, "I play a taxi driver in Driver Jamuna and I had a great time working on the project. I'm super excited to know what the audience has to say about the movie and my character. I don't think a film has been made on a female taxi driver in the last few years."
The film's story happens in one night, and she believes the realistic depiction of interesting events will be one of the highlights of the movie. "The movie's director has been waiting for an appropriate date to announce its release. He's so confident, and it makes me happier," she adds.
Mohandas with Vishnu Vishal is another film of hers which she thinks will work with the audience. "It's a thriller; its making will remind the audience of many Korean films," she notes. Jalsa with Prabhu Deva and Kannan's The Great Indian Kitchen are other movies she has in her kitty.
On whether she would like to experiment with her appearance in movies, Aishwarya says, "I have been mostly getting girl-next-door roles. So there is hardly any scope to alter my looks. I'm not that keen on breaking the girl-next-door image as well. I choose roles from what is offered to me, and I have never planned my career."
