Family Star is one of the most-awaited films on OTT and is now streaming on Amazon Prime. As the film flopped at the box office, not many watched it in theaters. So, naturally, there was a massive craze for the film online. Family Star started streaming on Amazon Prime on April 26, 2024.

Family Star trends on Amazon Prime's top ten list

Ever since its release, Family Star has caught the attention of many. The special aspect is that It is trending on top of the charts on Amazon Prime Video, which itself shows what kind of hype the film's OTT release has created. On the other hand, the Vijay Deverakonda starrer is also being trolled big time for its cheesy scenes and over-the-top narration.

Parasuram has directed this film, and he is the one who is being trolled big-time for the way he has made the film. Mrunal Thakur played the female lead in this film, and she was expecting Family Star to be a hatrick of hits after Sita Ramam and Hi Nanna. But the film ended as a massive flop.

Dil Raju produced the film, and he spent a lot of money on the production. Not many know but Amazon Prime had bought the digital rights for a massive Rs 35 crore, which is the highest ever for a Vijay Deverakonda film to date. Family Star was made on a massive budget of Rs 55 crore, which is also the highest in Vijay's career.
