Movie buffs were excited when Dream Warrior Pictures announced Farhana with Aishwarya Rajesh playing the titular role in it. The film helmed by Nelson Venkatesan hit screens on May 12, and opened to decent reviews from critics and film buffs.

The makers recently revealed that the movie, which is billed as a thriller flick, will drop on SonyLIV on July 7. The OTT platform has been coming up with promo videos featuring the director and actors at regular intervals, requesting the audience to watch the project on OTT.

One of the videos has Aishwarya thanking her fans and movie enthusiasts for supporting and showering love when Farhana was released in theatres. The overwhelmed actress requested those who missed the film in theatres to watch it on SonyLIV after a couple of days.

Jithan Ramesh, Sakthi and Aishwarya Dutta, who played notable characters in the project, too, were spotted in other videos informing the audience about the film's OTT premiere. All of them have requested people to watch it with their family and friends, and added that they are eager to know about the feedback.

Selvaraghavan, Kitty and Anumol among others have essayed key roles in Farhana which has music composed by Justin Prabhakaran. Gokul Benoy and VJ Sabu Joseph handled cinematography and editing respectively for the movie which marked the fourth outing for Aishwarya this year.

The film will be released on SonyLIV in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. It was released in theatres in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The intriguing screenplay is one of the highlights of the movie, while the proceedings become a tad slow in the latter half.
