Feminichi Fathima: A woman's attempts to have her words heard are depicted in the trailer

The highly acclaimed Malayalam film, Feminichi Fathima, will soon be available in cinemas. A trailer revealing the plot and main characters has been released by the makers of the movie ahead of its theatrical debut.

The video, which lasts one minute and thirty-four seconds, depicts the attempts of a housewife named Fathima to purchase a mattress that suits her preferences. However, the views of her family and the community she lives in influence and cast doubt on her decisions. Her spouse is also shown in the trailer stating that he is respected by the locals and does not want anyone to know that he is not obeyed in his own home. 

Additionally, he can be seen asking her if she is a "feminichi," a sexist Malayalam term for a woman who is known to be a feminist. Overall, this thought-provoking movie depicts Fathima's efforts to balance the conflicts between her plans and the responsibilities towards her family and community.

Feminichi Fathima's release date

The film, written and directed by debutante Fazil Mohammed, will be released on theatres on October 10. If it's released on the specified date, it will be showing in theatres with Private, starring Indrans, and Avihitham, directed by Senna Hegde. Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films, which most recently supported Kalyani Priyadarshan's Lokah: Chapter 1-Chandra, is distributing the movie in theatres around the state. 

Due to its positive reviews from both viewers nationwide and critics at major film festivals, Feminichi Fathima was widely anticipated in theatres. However, because three other films are slated for release on the same day and certain Malayalam films have been already doing well in theatres, Feminichi Fathima will only be shown in a few screens. With supporting parts from Kumar Sunil, Viji Viswanath, Praseetha, Raji R, Babitha Basheer, and Fasil Muhammad, Shamla Hamza plays the movie's heroine, Fathima. The film was edited by the director himself. Shiyadh Kabir produced the music for Feminichi Fathima.
