Siddharth Anand's Fighter hit the big screen on January 25, which is exactly a year after Pathaan. The film, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, was off to a flying start at the box office. However, the BO collection of Fighter was majorly impacted after four days of its theatrical run. Having said that, the Siddharth Anand directorial has finally gained momentum at the ticket window. On day 10 of its release, Fighter witnessed growth in its box office collection.
According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Fighter minted Rs 10.50 crore, which is almost double what the film earned on day 9 at the box office. For the uninitiated, Hrithik and Deepika's aerial actioner collected Rs 5.75 crore on day nine. The total collection of the Fighter now stands at Rs 162.75 crore.
The fact that Fighter saw a jump in its box office collection is a positive sign that the film will now continue to move at a good pace at the ticket window. Earlier, it seemed uncertain as to how the movie would perform at the box office as the film had a sharp decline in the BO collection.
Meanwhile, Fighter continues to perform exceptionally well at the worldwide box office collection. Yesterday, the makers revealed that the aerial actioner minted Rs 262 crore (gross) globally. While sharing an official update on Instagram, the team of Fighter thanked the audience for their love and asked them to 'keep it coming'.
As far as the film is concerned, Fighter is India's first aerial action film. It features Hrithik as Shamsher Pathania, Deepika as Minal Rathore, and Anil Kapoor as Rakesh Jai Singh. On the other hand, the movie also stars Karan Singh Grover as Sartaj Gill and Akshay Oberoi as Basheer Khan. Sanjeeda Shaikh also has a pivotal part to play in the Siddharth Anand film.
