Fighter teaser - Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor drop bombs of excitement in this aerial actioner

The teaser for Fighter is finally here, and ahead of its online premiere, we got a chance to watch it on the big screen. Well, we caught up with the intriguing tease of the Siddharth Anand actioner in 3D, and the experience is indeed worth the wait. The one-minute and 16-second video drops glimpses of many aspects of the film, especially the patriotic vibes it gives ultimately. 

A glimpse into Fighter

The teaser begins with Hrithik Roshan as Patty locking, loading, and dropping his fighter jet against the dash of white clouds in the blue sky. He is looking stylish and will remind you of War, which brings back the action hero that he is. The teaser plays with the viewers, hinting that they can never match these heroes of the Indian Air Force. The video then also introduces Deepika Padukone as Minni, the fellow squadron leader, and we also see the actor look stylish in her uniform effortlessly. Anil Kapoor, who plays Rocky, the commanding officer, joins them and demonstrates how it's done by taking to the sky.

The short teaser also gives a glimpse of the sizzling chemistry between Hrithik and Deepika, which is definitely one of the major reasons to look forward to Fighter. The video ends the same way Hrithik makes an entry in War, with the national flag being part of the frame.

Impressive teaser raise expectations

The adrenaline-pumped teaser is impressive, although it will remind you of Top Gun, going by the theme of the Air Force. However, we have to wait and see how Fighter will be a pioneering film in India.

Fighter also stars Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Talat Aziz in supporting roles. The makers have not yet disclosed their characters.

Siddharth Anand's vision

Earlier, while talking about the film, Siddharth said in a statement, "We have gone on a different level. The audience has not seen something like this before in India at all. It is something we have not attempted before. It's just impossible to make a film like this at the cost at which we are making it. It's not possible. Certain things we are exploring are really special. I can't talk about it, as I want people to see it when we launch the teaser. Hopefully, it will just blow their minds."

The big screen release of Fighter is scheduled for January 25, 2024, in IMAX and 3D as well.
