Action movie fans and fans of Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Siddharth Anand: this is a treat for you! After the record-breaking success of the Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika, and John Abraham-starrer Pathaan, Siddharth is busy with the filming of Fighter, which has Hrithik and Deepika in lead roles.
Parvez Shaikh is the action and stunt director of Fighter, and he recently revealed on a chat show that the film promises to be an action-packed one and a complete paisa vasool.
Speaking about the directive that the stunt director received from Fighter's director Siddharth, Parvez said that Siddharth would tell him over and over again that he wanted the action in Fighter to be on a level higher than Pathaan.
Giving insights into the kind of action sequences that one can expect from the film, Parvez said that there will be blasts, fire, and the use of helicopters and fighter planes.
He added that some high-octane scenes have already been canned at the SRPF Grounds in Mumbai's Jogeshwari suburb, which involved a range of hair-raising stunts.
Pathaan's stunts were designed by Emmy award-nominated Casey O'Neill, who has previously worked on Hollywood action-packed films like Jack Reacher and Mission Impossible.
Fighter is scheduled to release in theatres on January 25, 2024. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi.
