Streaming giant Netflix has partnered with Korean television network JTBC for its upcoming show, Frankly Speaking. You can stream the melodramatic comedy from May 1 onwards. Go Kyung-pyo and Kang Han-na star as the leading eccentric pair, along with Joo Jong-hyuk in a prominent supporting role.

When a renowned announcer accidentally loses his ability to control himself on air, a TV writer is enticed to invite him on her variety show, which leads to further chaos.

In the new trailer dropped on Netflix, the lead characters are introduced in a peculiar way. We meet On Woo-ju, a senior entertainment writer, who is stressed after her show ‘Men on the Run’ is cancelled and she needs to find a substitute member soon. Meanwhile, announcer Song Ki-Baek's is dealing with his own crises after an incident.

The plot revolves around 33-year-old ultra FM announcer Song Ki-Baek (Kyung-Pyo) and his life taking a spin after a chaotic accident. The once polite announcer soon transforms into a blunt personality after the drastic incident during the show. He starts losing control over his mind, and he begins hurting people by speaking harsh truths without a second thought. This sparks interest in On Woo-ju and their fates get entangled.
