2025 is the year when many anime almost came to an end. Right from Demon Slayer's Infinity Castle being explored to One Piece's Egghead Arc (season 1) now completed, a whole season of some beloved anime are on their very last chapter. It is, nonetheless, not the last hope - since there is always something to look forward to with the beloved anime.

The second longest-running weekly anime along with Detective Conan will now get a season release in 2026. One Piece season 2 will commence from Elbalph Arc in April – which marks the beginning of the end. We will now know the One Piece that Monkey D. Luffy has been seeking since so long pretty soon.
Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball came to an end early in 2025 with Dragon Ball: Daima. While there is still hope for the series to be revived, even if briefly, it will still take a long time for that to happen.
Demon Slayer is nearing its end. The Infinity Castle, which is the last chapter in the manga, has commenced. It happened with the biggest anime movie release in 2025 – Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1 – Akaza’s Return. The second and third installments of the movies will now go on till 2029. Whether they would be converted into a series is still uncertain at this point.
Dr. Stone season 4
Dr. Stone almost came to an end – for we were taken back to the beginning of the anime with season 4. The first part of the ending i.e. season 4 released in 2025.
