Doodh Peda Diganth's filmography may not have many successes in recent times, but more often than not, his performance in each of his films has been lauded, especially when comedy is involved. The actor, who was last seen in Laughing Buddha, has lined up his first release of the year with Edagaiye Apagathakke Karana, a dark comedy in which he plays a southpaw and the issues he faces owing to this.

Anant Nag, Pawan Kumar, Sundar Raj, Padmaja Rao, among others, were also on the cast.

Diganth replaced Kantara fame Rishab Shetty in Laughing Buddha, starring Pramod Shetty in the lead. The comedy drama by Hero director Bharath Raj M, had Diganth as a thief, who’d made away with a substantial amount from an MLA’s house. During his interrogation by the cops, an officer uses force on him, which leaves him with a concussion and potential amnesia. Pramod is the cop charged with finding out if Diganth’s character is faking it or has really forgotten where he’s stashed the money.
