Sonakshi Sinha's OTT debut Dahaad is gathering immense attention and applause from the audience around the country. The talented actor stars in the psychological crime thriller drama along with Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah. Sonakshi, who plays the character of a cop named Anjali Bhaati, spoke about her character and her journey from her acting debut Dabangg to Dahaad.

Reminiscing her journey as an actor, Sonakshi mentioned in a recent official statement that it has been 13 years of her debut in Dabangg where she portrayed the role of a cop-wife, while she got the opportunity to play a police officer herself through her OTT debut Dahaad.

She further added that she believes that she was born to play the role of Anjali Bhaati as it was one of her best experiences and she received a lot of great responses and love from the viewers. Sonakshi also mentioned that her character is a problem solver and completely committed to her duty.

She further unveiled that it took her less than an hour to say yes to the makers and the script and now she is glad for her decision as every role in Dahaad has been written with compassion and authenticity, which resonated with common people as well.

Created by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar, the latest Prime Video series also has Manyuu Doshi, Yogi Singha, Sanghmitra Hitaishi, Ratnabali Bhattacharjee, Nirmal Chiraniyan, Vijay Kumar Dogra, Abhishek Bhalerao and Ahmed Zaidi in supporting roles.
