From shopping for baby clothes to flying to the UK, here’s Ranbir Kapoor’s special plans for Alia Bhatt

The news of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor gearing up to welcome their first child was greeted wth cheers by the fans and the film fraternity. While both actors have been busy with their work commitments from the beginning of their wedding in April and will continue to be for the next few months, Ranbir has already made special plans for the soon-to-be-mother Alia.

In fact, according to a report in Filmfare, the Shamshera actor has already started shopping clothes for the baby while he was in Spain during the shoot of Luv Ranjan’s upcoming romcom that also has Shraddha Kapoor in the lead.

Alia is currently shooting for her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone, a Netflix spy thriller directed by Tom Harper and also starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. The couple apparently had their first scans in London earlier this month. The Bollywood actress is expected to be in the UK till mid July.

A source close to the family had told India Today that Ranbir will leave to London to accompany Alia back to India. The actress is expected to take a break for a while, before completing her portions in Ranveer Singh’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, directed by Karan Johar. Alia will also be beginning the promotions of her Netflix release Darlings, which is expected to release in August, by the end of July.

Meanwhile, Ranbir, who is also part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga, will be leaving to London in between the promotions of his film Shamshera, which will hit theatres in July. Both he and Alia are also expected to be part of the massive promotions planned for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, which is set for a theatrical release on September 9. The movie, which will be released in multiple languages, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and has cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
