Several new Telugu films dropped online this week. After Nawab Cafe and Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, Vishwak Sen’s film Funky has dropped on streaming. Popular actress Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead in the movie, which has made its OTT premiere on Netflix.
Where to watch Funky on OTT
The 2026 Telugu movie, directed by KV Anudeep, released in theatres on February 13 for Valentine’s weekend. Now, exactly a month later, the film started streaming on Netflix from midnight of March 13. The Telugu film is available to stream in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi on the platform with English subtitles.
Despite having popular actors Kayadu Lohar and Vishwak Sen, Funky opened to mixed reviews and did not impress most of the audiences. But Funky is expected to find more viewers in the digital space.
What is Funky movie about
Co-written by director KV Anudeep and Mohan Sato, Funky revolves around aspiring filmmaker Komal, who is struggling to make his first film due to budget issues. After he causes huge losses to the producer, producer’s daughter Chitra steps in and seeks to wrap up the project. Now, Komal is even ready to romance the young Chitra to fulfil his film dream. How the two get together and complete the film is showcased in Funky.
While Vishwak Sen stars in the lead role of Komal, Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead Chitra. Naresh, VTV Ganesh, Sampath Raj, and Easwari Rao play other key roles in the latest Telugu comedy drama.
Which are the other latest Telugu OTT releases
Another Telugu comedy drama, Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, also dropped online on March 13. The Ravi Teja film is streaming on Zee5 via OTTplay Premium. The film revolves around a wealthy winemaker, who strikes up a casual affair, but gets into trouble when the woman turns up in his city.
The other Telugu digital release this week is Nawab Cafe on ETV Win (also available for OTTplay Premium subscribers).
