Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman has a cameo in Shazam 2?

DCEU’s Wonder Woman, played by Gal Gadot, became one of the biggest heroes in the extended universe. The latest reports suggest that Wonder Woman will make a cameo appearance in Shazam: Fury of the Gods. 

As reported by The Illuminerdi, Wonder Woman will make a cameo in the sequel to Shazam. While the outlet did not give away any further information about what her role could be in the movie, it would not be a surprise if it is a short one, if at all it happens. 

While nothing can be confirmed about her appearance in the movie from this report, it would be a bold move to give the popular superheroine a run in the movie. If it does happen, this will be Gadot’s fifth appearance as Wonder Woman in the DCEU.

Wonder Woman, who made her first appearance in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, became one of the biggest figures in the extended universe following her stand alone film Wonder Woman. Soon becoming the face of the studio, she also appeared in Justice League and Wonder Woman 1984. There are now also plans for a third Wonder Woman movie with Gadot in the role. 

While reports are still not solid, a Wonder Woman appearance in Shazam: Fury of the Gods would make sense. The sequel will see Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, and Rachel Zegler play three goddesses and the daughters of Atlas: Hespera, Kalypso, and an unnamed daughter played by Zegler. 

Wonder Woman is tied to the gods, being the daughter of Zeus. Wonder Woman also fights and defeats Ares, the God of War in the first Wonder Woman movie. So it is not outside the realms of possibility that she could end up fighting these villains herself in the upcoming movie.
