Gangers trailer out: Sundar C is back for yet another commercial flick, with Vadivelu

Director Sundar C, who has been on a success streak with his films Aranmanai 4 (2024) and Madha Gaja Raja (2025) doing well at the box office, is coming up with a new film titled Gangers. The film stars the director along with actor-comedian Vadivelu in leading roles. Gangers is slated for release on April 24, and ahead of this, the makers released the trailer of the film on social media on Tuesday.

Director Sundar C will be reuniting with Vadivelu after a long gap, ever since the duo acted in the 2006 film Thalai Nagaram. Titled Gangers, the trailer of the upcoming Tamil film was released by the makers on social media on Tuesday.

The trailer begins with a man who describes someone who has been messing with him for a while. Meanwhile, Sundar C is shown to be joining as a PT master in a school through merit, even though there is already one instructor who has come through management quota. We are shown that he is played by Vadivelu, who seems to be easily overpowered by Sundar C. Soon, we get to see a clash between the two, as the trailer hints at a commercial potboiler. Meanwhile, Sundar C's character seems to have an ulterior motive for which he is ganging up on others.

Gangers is written and directed by Sundar C and produced by AC Shanmugam, ACS Arunkumar, and Kushboo Sundar. The screenplay and dialogues have been penned by Venkatt Raghavan with music scored by C. Sathya. The camera is cranked by E. Krishnasamy and Praveen Antony handled the edits.

Sundar C teams up with Nayanthara for Mookuthi Amman 2

Sundar C recently launched the sequel film Mookuthi Amman 2 and will be teaming up with Nayanthara. The film also stars Regina Cassandra, Meena and others in prominent roles. Produced by Vels Film International, it marks the first collaboration between Sundar C and Nayanthara.
