Gautham Karthik's family drama Anandham Vilaiyadum Veedu to hit the screens on December 24

The trailer of Nanda Periyasamy's Anandham Vilaiyadum Veedu was released recently. Billed as a family drama which is high on emotions, the film has an ensemble cast, including the likes of Cheran, Saravanan, Vignesh, Daniel Balaji, Mottai Rajendran, Soundararaja, Munishraj and Singampuli among others.

Borra Bhalabharani has cranked the camera for the film which has editing and music by NB Srikanth and Siddhu Kumar respectively. Hari Dinesh has composed action scenes for the movie which has dance choreography by Dinesh and Radhika. Shivathmika Rajasekhar plays the female in the project.

The team has now announced that the movie will hit the screens on December 24. It will take on Rocky and Kuruthi Aattam at the box office. While the former, starring Vasanth Ravi, will release on December 24, the latter, which has Atharvaa in the lead, will release on December 24.

Director Nanda Periyasamy's last outing was Taapsee Pannu-starrer Rashmi Rocket, which had a direct release on Zee5. Interestingly, the digital platform has bagged the OTT rights of Anandham Vilaiyadum Veedu as well. The movie is expected to have its OTT premiere a month after its theatrical release.

The film marks the Tamil debut of Tollywood actress Shivathmika Rajashekar. She plays a TV anchor in the movie which has Gautham playing a doting brother who takes up an uphill task of uniting his big family.  

Set against the backdrop of Dindigul, the film's shooting began earlier this year. A few months ago, Arya unveiled its first look poster which featured all major artists of the movie indulged in tug of war.
