Filmmaker Gautham Menon has three films in his kitty now, the long-pending Dhruva Natchathiram, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu and Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha. There are news doing the rounds that Silambarasan-starrer Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu might hit the screens on April and that Varun-starrer Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha might go the OTT way.

An official confirmation on the release of both the projects are awaited soon, though. The filmmaker has now surprised film buffs by letting out a news which has become the talk of the town. Netflix released a special Valentine's Day video in which host-turned-actor Kishen Das interviewed the filmmaker, where the latter spilled the beans on various things.

When Kishen asked Gautham casually whether he has plans to make film with someone unusual like Vadivelu, the filmmaker immediately came up with the reply that he is indeed in talks with the legendary comedian and that it will be different in every sense. A surprised Kishen asked him if he is really serious.

Gautham said, "We have been discussing about the project for a while. It will have a different way of depicting romance. The way he talks, his body language...everything will be tweaked from his regular style. And unsurprisingly, it will have loads of humour as well. He can really sweep someone off their feet."

The 18-minute video has Kishen asking Gautham what if Jessie, the iconic character played by Trisha in Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya (streaming on YouTube), turns out to be a psycho killer and Raghavan, the character played by Kamal Haasan in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu (streaming on Jio Cinema, Sun NXT and MX Player), is after her.

Initially, Gautham said he is actually working on a story based on this, which left Kishen astonished. Later, the filmmaker said that he was joking and thanked him for coming up with a good idea to develop for one of his upcoming projects.
