Music director Ghibran had announced recently that the first single from Thunivu has been titled Chilla Chilla, and that Anirudh and Vaisagh will be crooning and writing lyrics for the track respectively. He had also released a picture of himself from the recording studio along with Anirudh and Vaisagh.
Fans of Ajith have been eagerly waiting for the song ever since the announcement was made. The makers, however, are yet to reveal the day on which the song will be unveiled. Meanwhile, there has been speculation that the movie will have three songs.
The other day, Ghibran was spotted at the pre-release event of Sasikumar's Naan Mirugamai Maara where he was cornered by a few media outlets. Though he tried his best to stay tight-lipped for sometime, he finally revealed that the first single is a "mass song" which will be liked by fans of Ajith.
He added that he has given his best to the song as he himself is a huge fan of the star. "It will be a pakka mass song. I have come up with a composition keeping in mind his screen presence and the scope for him to dance in it," Ghibran said.
Further, he was asked about the total number of songs in the film and the release of its much-awaited trailer. However, he politely refused to reveal more information about the movie which is set to hit the screens as a Pongal release in January 2023.
Ghibran was in charge of the background score for Ajith's previous outing Valimai (streaming on Zee5) which was released earlier this year. Thunivu marks the third collaboration of director H Vinoth, Ajith and producer Boney Kapoor.
