Ghoomer Twitter review: Virender Sehwag, Riteish Deshmukh laud Abhishek Bachchan-Saiyami Kher's film, fans call it emotional and motivational

The much-awaited film ‘Ghoomer’, which stars Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher is out in cinemas now. Many Bollywood celebs as well as cricketers are lauding the R. Balki directorial for its exceptional story on an aspiring cricketer, who carves out a niche in the mainstream sport against all odds. Not only celebrities but cinephiles are also sharing their reactions to the latest sports drama film on social media.

The ace cricketer Virender Sehwag took to social media and shared his review about the film. He said, “Kal maine Ghoomer picture dekhi. Bahut achchi lagi. Bahut dino ke baad cricket ki picture dekhne mein bahut anand aaya. Kyunki isme cricket to hai magar emotion bhi hai aur sportsperson ki struggle kya hoti hai… iska idea bhi aa jayega aapko. Khaas kar injury se wapis aana kitna alag level ka struggle hai… ye pata chal jayega”. (I saw the film ‘Ghoomer’ yesterday and I loved it. After a long time, I enjoyed seeing a film. The film is not just about cricket alone… it also has got emotions. (After seeing this film), you will get to know the struggle of a sportsperson and how all this elevates after making a comeback post an injury).

He added, “Main waise spinner ko respect nahi deta hoon. Lekin Saiyaami ji ne Ghoomer daali hai, who laajawaab hai. Ye role bahut his mushkil tha, aur unhone emotional kar diya. Waise main coach ki nahi sunta. Magar Abhishek Bachchan ne aisi acting ki hai ki aapko unki baat zaroor sunni padegi. 18th August ko Ghoomer zaroor dekho family ke saath aur inspire ho jaao. Jaise Bachchan saab ne kaha... main bhi kehta hoon… I love this game. Dher saari aansu leke jaana… kyuni apko rulaayegi bhi.” (As such, I don’t respect the spinner. There were many cinegoers who took to social media and showered their praises on the film. While one netizen wrote, “Ghoomar movie was fully entertaining film, emotional,drama, motivational movie. ONE TIME WATCH”, there was another who wrote, “The reviews of #Ghoomer have made me to watch this film. @JuniorBachchan is back with a bang”.

Then, there was a user named Anuradha, who wrote, “Prepare to be amazed! #Ghoomer's reviews don't lie – it's a cinematic masterpiece. @juniorbachchan delivers an unforgettable performance”.
