Kalyaan has directed the movie which features the actress in dual roles

The teaser of Kajal Aggarwal's Tamil film Ghosty was unveiled yesterday by its makers. The movie, featuring the actress in dual roles for the first time, is also billed as her comeback vehicle as she was away from the limelight for a while owing to motherhood.
Touted as a horror-comedy, the actress will be seen essaying the roles of a cop and a successful actress in the project which has been helmed by Kalyaan of Gulebagavali and Jackpot fame. The film features a bevy of actors including KS Ravikumar, Radhika Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Oorvasi, Sathyan, Adukalam Naren and Manobala.
The makers have announced that Zee5 has bagged the digital rights of the movie which has Jacob Rathinaraj handling cinematography and Sam CS composing music. Gopi Anand and Vijay Velukutty have handled art direction and editing respectively for the film.
Ghosty has been bankrolled by Seed Pictures; the movie has action choreography by Billa Jagan. The combination sequence of a few veteran actors is expected to be the USP of the project which is likely to hit the screens soon. Ravikumar is essaying the role of the antagonist while Radhika will be seen in a cameo.
The teaser of Ghosty has left fans of Kajal elated as they have been missing their favourite star on screen for a while. The actress has the long-delayed Karungaapiyam awaiting release in Tamil. The Deekay directorial was wrapped up long ago.
Kajal has been getting trained in horse riding and martial arts to pull off her character in Shankar's Indian, starring Kamal Haasan in the lead. She joined the set a month ago and took to her social media page to post a few pics and videos from her training session.
