Ginger Soda music video: Taapsee's lungi dance is the highlight of this peppy song from Annabelle Sethupathi

Looks like the team of Annabelle Sethupathi is leaving no stone unturned in promoting the movie which is all set for a premiere on Disney+ Hoststar on September 17. Directed by debutant Deepak Sundarrajan, son of filmmaker-turned-actor R Sundarrajan, the movie has Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu playing the lead roles. 

After releasing the trailer and a sneak peek, the team has now come up with a music video, titled Ginger Soda, which has Anirudh Ravichander lending his voice for it, along with Yashita Sharma. Composed by Krishna Kishor, the lyrics of the song has been penned by Ku Karthik. 

The four-minute fun-filled video has a few shots from the trailer, dance sequences featuring all the artistes in the film, interesting BTS moments and Taapsee's energetic lungi dance. Radhika Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Jagapathi Babu, Surekha Vani, George Maryan, Vennella Kishore, Chetan, Devadarshini, Subbu Panchu and Madhumitha among others form the movie's stellar cast. Annabelle Sethupathi revolves around a small time burglar who barges into a strange palace which is filled with ghosts. After finding out the mystery about the owner of the palace, she strikes a deal with the ghosts there.

Produced by Sudhan Sundaram and G Jayaram, under the banner of Passion Studios, the film has cinematography by Goutham George and editing by Pradeep E Ragav. The movie will be the third project of Sethupathi to release in a week's time. His film Laabam and Tughlaq Durbar were released a few days ago in theatres and on an OTT platform respectively. 

Taapsee, on the other hand, has more than half a dozen projects in her kitty, including two Tamil films, Alien and Jana Gana Mana. Annabelle Sethupathi, which has dance choreography and action sequences helmed by Dinesh Master and Dinesh Kasi respectively, will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
