A few months ago, Vishnu Vishal had announced that he has begun shooting for the bilingual flick Gatta Kusthi, which is billed as a sports drama. Chella Ayyavu is at the helm of the movie which will be released in Telugu under the title Matti Kusthi.

The actor himself is bankrolling the movie under Vishnu Vishal Studioz along with Tollywood star Ravi Teja's RT Team Works. The latter had presented the Telugu version of Vishnu's previous film FIR in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Aishwarya Lekshmi was roped in to play the female lead in the project.

The team has now unveiled a promo video on the occasion of Vishnu celebrating his birthday today. The 35-second video begins with Vishnu riding a Bullet motorcycle in a village. He gets off the vehicle and beats a few goons black and blue.

We are then introduced to another character played by the actor who looks almost similar to the first character that appears in the video. Post the short fight scene, Vishnu is seen walking towards an indoor stadium, sporting the attire of a wrestler. This is the first time the actor-producer is essaying dual roles in his career.

Richard M Nathan and Justin Prabhakaran have handled cinematography and music direction respectively for the movie which has editing by Prasanna GK and art direction by Umesh J Kumar. Anbariv has been brought on board to compose action sequences for the project, while Hariharasuthan is in charge of VFX.

On the actor's special day, a promo video from his thriller flick Mohandas was also unveiled earlier today. It looks like Gatta Kusthi might be released next year. In all probability, Mohandas is likely to hit the screens later this year.
