Glimpses of Valimai: The Ajith-starrer will have high octane action sequences in the offing

No other Tamil film has garnered the hype Valimai enjoyed in the recent times. After the makers recently announced that the action thriller will hit the screens for Pongal 2022, it was said that a teaser will be released on Thursday around 6pm. Fans of Ajith and others were waiting with bated breath to watch the sneak peek. 

However, the video, titled Glimpses of Valimai, the duration of which is one and a half minute, was dropped at 6.30pm. The power-packed video, featuring Ajith and Kartikeya, has what the hardcore fans of the former have been waiting for.

 It begins with a few passionate motocross racers seen exhibiting their adventure skills, hinting at the backdrop in which the plot of the film is set against. We are then introduced to Kartikeya, who is notorious for his tryst with dark web. Arjun, played by Ajith, challenges the former's business and lock horns with him. What follows later seems to be the crux of Valimai's story. Ajith utters the punchline Naa game aarambichu romba neram aachu thambi (I have already started the game, kid) to the antagonist. He is then seen doing a stunt in a bike from the top of a building. 

The swashbuckling teaser ends with Ajith saying 'This could be something big' even as he drifts the car he drives. Fans of the star are excited at seeing him in a full-fledged action avatar after a while. The fact that he is playing a cop in it and Yuvan Shankar Raja composing for the movie have elevated the hype surrounding Valimai. It was only a few days ago that the team unveiled the look of Kartikeya from the film. Fans are now looking forward to get a glimpse of Huma Qureshi from the movie. The big question which remains now is whether Valimai will have a box office clash with another biggie.
