God Father teaser: Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan leave fans into a tizzy with their majestic screen presence

The moment Chiranjeevi fans have been waiting for is here! Team God Father has unveiled the film's teaser on the eve of the Megastar's birthday, leaving his fans thrilled. The one-and-a-half minute trailer offers a glimpse of the gangster drama which revolves around national politics and international drug cartel.

Going by the promo video, Chiranjeevi appears apt for the protagonist's role, that of a political kingpin whose life remains a mystery to others. The veteran actor is seen in a stylish avatar, sporting salt and pepper hair after a long time. As expected, the slo-mo shots featuring the Megastar are a treat to watch.

However, the surprise element of the teaser is the presence of Salman Khan in it. The Bollywood superstar, though has only a blink-and-miss appearance in the video, registers his presence. The mutual fans of both Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan can't contain the excitement and are waiting to see them share the screen presence for the first time.

Nayanthara and Satya Dev among others will be seen essaying key roles in the project. Thaman's background score is another highlight of the teaser. Though the peppy track reminds of a few other compositions of the musician, it doesn't hamper the enjoyment. This is the first full-fledged Chiranjeevi-starrer which has music by Thaman. The composer was on board for Ram Charan's Bruce Lee which had Chiru essaying a cameo. 

God Father, which has been helmed by Mohan Raja, is the remake of Malayalam movie Lucifer which was released in Telugu and Tamil in 2019. Prithviraj Sukumaran, who had directed the movie, played a cameo in it as well, which was lauded by movie buffs in Kerala.

God Father is slated for a theatrical release on October 5; the movie will have a box office clash with Nagarjuna's The Ghost. The former is Chiranjeevi's second outing this year after Acharya.
