Good Night: HERE's what Ponniyin Selvan 2 actor Karthi has to say about the Manikandan film

Ever since director Vinayak Chandrasekaran's Good Night hit screens, the film has been receiving positive reviews from the critics and audience. The latest to praise the film is Ponniyin Selvan 2 star Karthi, who called the film, charming.

Taking to his social media handle, Karthi wrote, "#Goodnight - such a charming film. How did u guys make each moment of life so real yet funny and beautiful!? Felt life is beautiful with all its flaws. Loved it. Taking home all the characters with me (sic)."

The plot revolves around an IT professional, who battles many upheavals in his personal life, courtesy his snoring problem. The film stars Manikandan, Meetha Raghunath, Ramesh Thilak, Raichal Rabecca, Bagavathi Perumal and Balaji Sakthivel.

It was only recently that Leo director Lokesh Kanagaraj, too, had called the film, fun-filled. He had written on his social media handle, "Watched #GoodNight. The movie is funfilled, feel-good, emotional and realistic. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice & sleek performance by @Manikabali87 & all the other casts. Best wishes to @imvinayakk @Yuvrajganesan @mageshraj @thilak_ramesh (sic)."

OTTplay's critic P Sangeetha had written in her review, "Director Vinayak Chandrasekaran’s Good Night is an emotionally uplifting film, which has its heart in the right place. Laced with some solid performances and brilliant writing and filmmaking, Manikandan and Meetha Raghunath's Good Night is a warm concoction of some hearty moments, humour and emotions."

The film's music is by Sean Roldan, cinematography by Jayanth Sethu Madhavan and editing by Bharath Vikraman. Good Night is bankrolled by Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment, and distributed by Shakthi Film Factory.

Karthi, whose last release was Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan 2, is currently busy with director Raju Murugan's Japan. The actor plays a quirky character in the film.
